This is a take on our Whittaker base (seen previously just with a 50cm diameter globe) – this base shown here is for a 65cm diameter globe and the customer requested changes to how the rings would be spaced.
The globe is Gagarin and it has added personalisation like hand drawn and hand painted illustrations, travel routes and highlighted cartography.
The globe spins 360 degrees in a fluid motion by hand on ball bearings and can be easily lifted from its base.
