It has been such a busy week! We finished & sent off a huge order…. the studio suddenly felt so empty!
The One Show (BBC) & one of our travel heroes Simon Reeve spent the day with us Tuesday…. and Jon started a new 80cm Galileo.
Our new apprentice Kirsty had her first day of work. Apprentices train for around one year before they become full-fledged Globe-makers. It takes a brave and talented soul to practice making day after day, constantly recycling their work and starting over to develop the skills and train their hands.
Then we had visits from Holborn Magazine & Bear Leader (New York)….
