When Peter Bellerby held an exhibition at the RGS in 2012, his team numbered just three. Twelve years later, Bellerby & Co. Globemakers has grown to a busy studio of thirty artisans and ship their one-of-a-kind globes all over the world.

In this talk, we will meet the founder and some of his team who will be casting, painting and goring whilst we learn more about the rare craft of making bespoke globes. We will hear about the wonderful journey Peter has been on since 2008 when he set out to find a suitable model for his fathers 80th birthday – and what happened when he decided instead to make the present himself.

Booking for in-person attendance is required.
