This was a bespoke commission for a variation of our Schmincke Gagarin colouring. This has arrows designed in to show ocean currents, wind, and painted with ocean depths in mind.
Schmincke Gagarin is deeper and darker than our standard Gagarin and more saturated and darker in the depths than Prussian Gagarin.
The globe here has a matte finish, another example also a bespoke variation can be seen (linked here) with a satin finish and added illustrations.
Globe spins 360 degrees in a fluid motion by hand on bearings and can be easily lifted from its base.
We have rotational globes in 12cm, 22cm, 36cm, 50cm, 65cm, 80cm, and 127cm diameter.
