Never to be replicated, this is truly a one-of-a-kind edition.
With a theme of “Cabinet of Curiosities” – land and sea are filled with hand drawn and hand painted illustrations showing Bellerby & Co’s incredible attention to detail and skill. Lost treasures, exotic animals, and beautiful plant-life can be discovered with every turn.
The modern and sleek base is handcrafted from Walnut in our Brisbane II style – and allows the globe to be smoothly moved and spun from any angle. The globe sits and spins within a solid hand-engraved Bronze meridian. The globe itself is a modern and up to date world map as always, the ocean a warm soothing blue paired with a warm brown shaded land. Handcrafted by wetting and stretching paper gores from pole to pole, the colour and detail is then hand painted in layers of detail.
