We are honoured to have a video about our studio part of the Mercator Museum (MAP) in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium.
In the final section, “Everyone a Cartographer,” they highlight how mapping and globemaking continues to inspire creativity and craftsmanship today. This space has a 15-metre-long vitrine with 190 20th-century globes, and they were kind enough to ask to include a short video clip showing our workshop and the artistry behind Bellerby Globemakers.

This is the only museum in Belgium that focuses entirely on cartography. What once began as a classic heritage collection, after its recent reopening end of 2025 it has now become a completely renewed experience museum that immerses visitors in the world of maps and cartography in a contemporary way. Historical masterpieces – including the original globes of Gerard Mercator and the Lafreri Atlas – are alongside multimedia, interactive installations and immersive projections.
